Olumide Gbenro was born in Lagos, Nigeria and immigrated to the United States in his teens where his love of sport began. He attended Ohio University where he received his bachelors in exercise physiology. He is currently working on his second book, The Olympic Manual: How to achieve you dreams due in November 2014.
