Guy Bouchié de Belle was born in an old aristocratic French family in Algeria in 1953. He studied at a Catholic seminary to become a priest. Unanswered questions made him turn eastwards for answers. He started to practice hatha-yoga at the age of 14. He then studied and practiced Buddhism, then kriya-yoga with one of the first Indian disciples of P.Yogananda, in India. He finally settled for the path of divine love, bhakti-yoga, the essence of Vedic wisdom, which he has been practicing for the last 44 years. He is presently finishing a PHD in philosophy. After having raised a large family, he has adopted the Vedic order of renunciation, sannyasa, and been awarded the title of Bhaktivedanta Suddhadvaiti Swami 9 years ago. He loves kirtan and bhajans, devotional music, and is an accomplished musician. He delivers lectures and seminars worldwide on the science of self-realization, and guides his students on the path of sacred love.
