Annie has escaped from a two in a half years abusive relationship and has been on the run/in hiding for months.

She has been wanting to return back to the small town her grandmother lives in and has always lived in. Annie has wanted to go back and see her but for the past almost two years, has been ’forbidden’ to see her. Her grandmother is the only family she has left and who had helped raise her.
