Set in the beautiful Pacific North West; Darby Moore, a lawyer, private investigator, pilot – a man with much experience and background, comes into a case he very much does not want to have – the murder of his close friend, college classmate and fellow lawyer, Shawn Porter. He is helped by another college classmate who took a different path after graduation and became Sergeant of Detectives, Arthur Beck.

Through the initial stages of the case, Darby learns of a witness who turns out to be a beautiful, confident and engaging woman, Cathy Buckley. Cathy’s bizarre closeness to this case is difficult for Darby to understand and gets Cathy in some very serious trouble; trouble from which Darby must rescue his new found love.

This exciting adventure takes flight over short and long distances; it has true love, true evil and great characters. The description of both characters and scenery makes it easy to visualize the path Darby Moore takes to solve his most difficult case.
