Scott C. Grant’s experience both as a journalist and a pastor gives him a unique vantage point from which to explore the spiritual life. Whether he’s delving into the Scriptures or searching for meaning, he always asks the journalist’s question: "What’s the story?" As a pastor at Peninsula Bible Church, he teaches, writes, counsels, and leads the Intern Program, which trains men and women for ministry-and for appreciating the artistry of God in everyday life. Scott is a sixth-generation San Franciscan who was reared in the Silicon Valley. He is a graduate of both Pepperdine University and the Cole Center for Biblical Studies in Boise, Idaho. His stops as a journalist included stints as a reporter for the Record Searchlight in Redding, California, and as an editor for the Contra Costa Times in Pleasanton, California, where in his off hours he led Bible studies and shepherded high school and college students. He enjoys looking for God everywhere, especially in the vicinity of trout streams and golf courses. He lives in Sunnyvale, California, with his wife Karen and two daughters.
