ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Ms.Ira Baxi is an renowned Practising Company Secretary and Professor of CA & CS from past 15 years. In the Secondary Examinations she achieved 13th merit in the Rajasthan State Board Examination and was awarded with the Collectors Gold medal and scholarship from the  Government of Rajasthan. Later on she graduated in B.Sc. in Computer Science with distinction marks.In year 1996 she completed her Post Graduate in Marketing & Sales Management (PGDMSM) from JNV University. After clearing  final examinations of CS she started her article ship in MCS Ltd which was then the topmost Registrar to an Issue and Share Transfer(RTA) agent company. On 30th April, 2002 she received her membership and commenced her career as a Practising Company Secretary which is being continued till date. She is the only Female Fellow Company Secretary of Western Rajasthan till date. At present she is the executive Director of Baxi Corporate Advisory Consultancy Services Pvt ltd (BCACS Pvt Ltd) which is at present providing consultancy and compliance services to around 300 companies India wide. Meanwhile she also began to teach Law subjects of CA & CS Courses under name of IRABAXI CORPORATE ACADEMY. The first batch started on 22th july, 2003 and that journey is being continued  till date. She has taught thousands of students of CA IPCC & Final and CS Executive & Professional.

As the co-founder of BCACS Private Ltd, has the role of providing expert counsel to client companies in company law, Securities Laws, labour laws, FEMA compliances, RBI compliances. She also has been providing her services in this field from past15 years.  Her experience also includes advising on transaction structuring including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate restructuring, capital restructuring, foreign investment consulting, technical collaborations,Recently she has started consulting on GST Law. Her skills and competence are being the strength of this organization.

She is also a co-founder of Baxi Corporate Books (Tree Free Books) which is aimed at providing quality study material and e books to students and professionals at very reasonable and affordable price.
