Taeggardt's sister insists her brother would not commit suicide; couldn't commit suicide the way the ME ruled. She's hired Grossman Investigations to find the answer. Alisa meets Tuxedo, the cat, who helps her find a stash of cassette tapes JM left. The tapes appear to be mundane reporting of news, weather and sports; with frequent quotations from famous authors and very frequent reference to the Bible. And then, there's the gang who doesn't want Alisa to dig too deep. What was James Monroe Taeggardt involved in that has stirred such strong passions?
