Wandering speaks directly to the general human experience of both becoming overwhelmed in a positive way by monumental forces of nature and finding one’s self overwhelmed by difficulty and trauma as well. Experience with the Sublime and the Abyss are mythic themes that reach across cultures and time periods which address the human condition. We humans share the capacity to experience something transcendent, something imaginal and greater than ourselves.

Why? Because sometimes we need to go there, go to those places of inspiration, imaginal depth, elation, darkness, pain, grief, and fear. Again why? So that we can receive the gifts of healing that come through the soul.
