Dr. Panchajanya ’Panch’ Paul is a Double Board-certified - Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine (ABIHM). He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). He completed his general psychiatry training at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Ohio in 2011. He completed his child & adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at the Emory University in 2013. He received training in holistic medicine from the Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine in San Diego in 2014. He was also trained by Dr. Daniel Amen in the use of SPECT scan, QEEG, and supplements at the Amen Clinics in 2017. Dr. Paul grew up in India and finished his medical training at the Manipal University which is ranked among the top ten medical schools in India. He graduated with honors and the distinction of being among the top 5 of his class. He treats the whole person and provides holistic psychiatric care. He incorporates medications, supplements, therapy, genomics, sleep, diet, exercise and mindfulness in his treatment plan. He enjoys working with all age groups- individually, as well as couples and families. His specialty is in use of complementary and alternative medicine like natural herbs and supplements in treating anxiety, depression, and ADHD. He holds adjunct faculty positions at Emory University School of Medicine; University of Georgia & Georgia Regents University; and University of Central Florida School of Medicine. He is a freelance writer and runs health columns for three local news magazines in Atlanta. In the past, he had served as a medical director of Harbor Pines, one of the largest Crisis stabilization unit in Florida. He has also worked as a staff psychiatrist at the Amen Clinics, Atlanta, and the Atlanta Center of Eating Disorders. He currently does private practice in Atlanta, Georgia. For all his contributions to the field of psychiatry, Dr. Paul was made a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA) in 2016.
