In the beginning, a man lives in misery with his overbearing, nagging mother in a rambling, damp and unpleasant house. When he can’t take any more, he kills her, and buries her bloated body. When he wakes the next morning, her body is back where it was the night he killed her - and the entire world has reset to Monday. Everything that happened before, happens again.
