Sacred Lady Caché traces her life from childhood in traditional chickees, without electricity, plumbing, or certainty, through the transformation of her community as bingo halls became casinos and sovereignty became power. Along the way, she navigates poverty, generational trauma, abuse, underage exploitation, political corruption, wealth, betrayal, addiction, incarceration, and loss.
