This monograph explores the vital role of prosocial behavior in enhancing well-being among Chinese vocational students. Through an in-depth analysis using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), the study reveals how basic psychological needs mediate the link between prosocial behavior and well-being, while autonomous motivation further influences this relationship. With data from 7,000 students, the findings highlight the significance of fostering prosocial behavior in vocational education. This work offers valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and mental health professionals, providing actionable strategies to support student psychological well-being and success in academic and social contexts.
