The book is both heart-warming and emotional as it builds the bond between the girl and the racehorse. The book is a young adult novel, but will delight readers old and young. Horse stories tend to blur the lines of book categories as many adults still love reading the books: The Black Stallion and Black Beauty. This is one of those horse story must-reads!
