By phone, Whitehall told us, "As we've removed the boards from the windows, and tarps from the presses, we've realized that the"Anchor Book" is the first one to meet us after returning from the evacuation. Perhaps "Put Down Your Anchor, Ride Out the Storm" is prophetic, christened by the hurricane and those that followed, to declare this is the message needed whenever we go through any kind of storm.

At 81, Jeanne M. Mohr continues missionary work to New Guinea and Nigeria, teaching through speaking engagements, writers workshops and music. She resides in rural Missouri with her dog Sammy.
