There has to be more to life than lurking with a camera outside strange hotels and houses.  For New York private investigator David McConazie, an early mid-life crisis seems likely – especially since his latest adultery case brings him face to face with a crazed woman with a gun.  Ambitious brother Bill, however, is ready to take his detective agency to the next level when he is hired by a fabulously wealthy Manhattan socialite to retrieve her mother’s treasured locket from a con man.
