Honestly, is there nothing that I believed five days ago that actually is what I thought it was?
Should I begin a list of what I have discovered in these recent days?
Would it make me feel more or even less in control? There are so many strange things, so many mysteries.
Backing away as she had instructed herself, yet hesitating, Selena moved to the door and closed it hearing a firm ＂click＂. With precision, she locked the door with the key she had found.
Remembering back to that afternoon, she also remembered another afternoon, another child. Now she knew who they were; where they had come from; how far they had travelled; and what happened in the years between.
But there were those remaining mysteries, still unsolved.
