Nightmares Are Made of These is a collection of short stories and one novelette of Gothic genre. Some of the short stories were inspired by the authors own nightmares.
The novelette Monev is a story about vampires who instead of being 'made' by other vampires, are born just as humans are born. These vampires or 'Pires' have existed as long as humans have though they are make belive and not real to humans. A human is brought into this Pire society by a vampire that does not associate with humans beyond what is necessary for her to survive and because of this neither the vampire nor human world will ever be the same.
