"The account of my childhood is presented here only in the earnest desire that those I am called to serve might have better outcomes. The point of this book is to inspire involvement of others, to rally those who are like-minded, and to move the work of rescuing children forward. The foundation of this project is to spark a movement that somehow changes the life stories of thousands, maybe even tens-of-thousands, of vulnerable children and distressed families. Hopefully, it will also encourage those already in the fight to renew their efforts.
