Eva Pelayo Sanþudo holds a PhD in Gender and Diversity from the University of Oviedo and currently teaches at the University of Cantabria (Spain). Her research fields include American literature, ethnic studies and gender studies. Her monograph Spatialities in ItalianAmerican Women’s Literature: Beyond the Mean Streets (2021) has received several awards.

María Pilar Rodríguez is Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Deusto. She holds a PhD from Harvard University and has published extensively in the fields of literature, film, culture and gender studies. She is the Principal Investigator of the Basque Government’s communication research team.
