This is the sequel to Rosedale House and Ian Stephenson is on his way to taking over the RCMP Department known as Smith. A day after an unknown assailant invades Rosedale House, Vince, the man who fenced Ian’s inventions in the 90s, comes looking for criminal mastermind John Hepburn. Ian knows why Vince wants to be put in touch with John; Vince wants updated electronic surveillance equipment and he hopes Hepburn could hook him up. Meanwhile, Ian has started to put together a Tech Team that can develop just the type of surveillance equipment Vince is looking for. But before Ian does business with Vince, Ian’s going to have to get his team operational and he’s going to have to know a whole lot more about Vince.
