A medieval era warlord sends his third and youngest son accompanied by one of his best young soldiers, the eldest daughter of his closest ally and her hand maiden on a mission. Aided by the son's sentient pet crow, they are to collect the final signatures on a peace treaty and mutual defence agreement ending years of negotiation and at the same time find spouses to bring home for their parents' approval.
