In the spring of 1948, Erin Hays, a bright young attorney, realizes her ambition of becoming a first rate trial lawyer may never materialize in her uncle's male-dominated law firm. When a passenger is killed on her night train west, a romantic adventure begins that involves mystery, murder and and a deadly climax with the killers.
