He is Adjunct Professor at Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, China Agricultural University, and many other universities.

Yaping Song is Dean of Hubei Academy of Social Sciences, second-level Professor, Expert of special government allowance of the State Council, and Doctoral Supervisor of Wuhan University and Central China Normal University. He published more than 10 academic monographs such as Xian’an Political Reform, The Way Out, and China County System.
