For after a thousand years, the Dragon has been freed from his infernal prison. But this time, there are no archangels to help defeat him.

Ciarán uncovers a flicker of hope in an unlikely savior: a young, orphaned girl whose prophetic visions could guide them to victory. Though shadowy forces are converging - a relentless bishop with a penchant for hunting sorceresses and the Dragon’s own supernatural servants - all seeking to extinguish this last glimmer of light.

To protect her, Ciarán and his unlikely band of allies must embark on a perilous journey to the fabled city of Constantinople and beyond the known world, where the final conflict awaits.

But in the face of overwhelming odds, the question lingers: Can any mortal stand against the original dark lord - the Dragon, the Enemy of God?
