Honouring our brokenness and happiness is like seeing a broken pot repaired with gold dust in the glue so all the breaks are visible. The gold cracks show that when repaired with all its scars visible, the imperfect piece of pottery may be more beautiful than the perfect original. It can be a restorative process representing a changed perspective, of healing and wholeness, accepting the imperfectly beautiful.
