Amphitrite spends her days caring for creatures of the sea, desiring nothing more than a serene life of peace and harmony under the waves. When her tranquil existence is shattered by the arrival of the tempestuous Poseidon, ruler of the deep, she finds herself questioning those desires.

Captivated by more than her graceful dancing, Poseidon is wholly and utterly taken with Amphitrite. Overwhelmed by the prospect of ruling as his queen, she flees, leaving her more ambitious sister to take her place. Unwilling to settle for another, Poseidon sends his trusted companion to find Amphitrite and convince her there is more to him than stormy seas and violent earthquakes.

Reluctantly, Amphitrite agrees to hear Poseidon out, challenging him to prove that beneath his stormy exterior lies a heart capable of change.
