SoulFooled is a collection of poems broken into three sections that explores the themes self awareness, grief, love, and spirituality. InternalMe takes you on a journey of self discovery through ones upbringing and social environment. MentalScape deals with the complexities that comes with grief, trauma, and acceptance. AlignMeant is the chapter in your life where everything begins to come into place and you take back control over your life. Na’Chelle, stage name TheAfroNative, is a poet amongst other things. Growing up in South Central LA, she began writing short stories and poetry around the age of 9 years old. Her inspiration comes from her mother, who is also a poet, her community, and her love of movies. She incorporates her passions for poetry and videography by creating stories that feed the soul such as ＂The Love Language of Oshun and Shango＂ and ＂To be a Black Man＂ which can be found on her YouTube channel Hidden Jewels Media.
