Notwithstanding his intelligence, Drazzle Fairfeather has always felt like an ordinary duck. So, then, imagine his sense of wonderment when an acute feeling comes over him, prompting him to leave his family, and a Colony of Ducks, living in an idyllic home in a forest, complete with a river following through it.

Drazzle eventually relents to the urge to leave everything he knows. Fortunately, Drazzle’s best friend, Zeet, a plucky cardinal, joins him on his journey to another place. However, their new home may be brimming over with diversity, but things are very complicated. Will Drazzle usher in change, or will he conform to the status quo?
