Retired counsellor and self-described people observer, Trish Sara writes with whit and self-deprecating humour about her experience of ageing and observations of others in the ageing process.

She challenges the reader to review their attitude to old age and live their best life appreciating the wonderful doors that open with old age notwithstanding the challenges it invariably brings.

She provides insights gained from her experience counselling mature women and taps into elements of positive psychology to ask the reader to undertake a stock take of their life to date and consider how a change of perspective can bring satisfaction, joy and personal growth.

Trish explores a wide range of topics including; the way we see ourselves in old age, our perceptions and pre-conceived ideas about what it is to be old, the stories we tell ourself and how these can get in the way.
