In addition to the well-known World War II there was a secret, unknown war. A war in which humans and their allies opposed supernatural threats. UK and US got their MI-6 and Office of Strategic Services. Nazis got Ahnenerbe and Heilige Lanze, Lance of Longinius. And Soviets got SMERSH assault battalions... and the Special Platoons, the last line of defense against those who lurks in darkness. They are few. They are not supposed to be awarded, nor to be mentioned in official papers at all. They are not supposed to be alive - after all, death is not an excuse. Their only allies are volunteers from tribes of White Seidhe, "The Elder People", who lived in the forests of Siberia long before humans.
