＂Now why would I do that?＂ his expression enlightened with amusement and face tilting to the side.

＂I wouldn’t want you to injure yourself any further＂ his eyes directed at my wounded and bloody side.

In a rapid movement, he grabbed my leg and pulled me back to him ensuring I couldn’t crawl any further away.

Grunting and winching from pain, I threw my head back onto the ground resulting in a loud thud, pressing on my wounded excruciating painful side to stop more blood from seeping out.

＂St-st-stop＂ I coughed barely getting my breath stabilized.
