Pamela Wrenn Wood’s first children’s picture book incorporates the use and care of the U.S. flag into its patriotic messages. watered, walked, and groomed Flag, so named because he reared when he saw the U.S. flag. For an upcoming local Fourth-of-July parade, the girl trained Flag to walk with her lead.
