蕭木吉Mu-Chi Hsiao

This is a newly released, English language translation of  field guide to Taiwan birds. If you're birding in Taiwan and don't fluently read Chinese, you need this book. To my knowledge this is the *only* Taiwan specific complete field guide in English. 

The book itself is excellent. It's lavishly illustrated, with range maps provided. Clear information is provided for Taiwan, plus the outlying islands (like Kinmen and Matsu) which have very different species distributions. The information for distinguishing similar species is particularly appreciated, as this is hard to come by in English.
