As new moms hoping to bring up our little ones in a biligual Chinese/English environment, we have found it hard to find Chinese children books that have all the elements that we are looking for: interesting stories, engaging illustrations, written in rhyme, with cadence - hence, we wrote our own!
We recognize that there are many parents now who want to provide the best environment for their children to learn Chinese even though they themselves may not be native speakers. This book provides an easy to follow phonetic pronounciation using the pinyin system - perfect for native and non-native Chinese speakers alike! In addition to the linguistic features of the book, we incorporated funny and creative scenes into the story to spark imagination in children and hope to make bedtime reading fun...who says counting sheep is boring!

Alice 和Lily, 兩位經過東西文化教育的新手媽媽，一起創作了一本中文故事書送給她們倆的寶寶。她們希望通過有趣押韻的故事來培養寶寶對學習中文的興趣。
Alice和Lily自小隨父母移居加拿大直至中學回流香港，並在香港接受雙語教學。
Alice 在加拿大皇后大學取得物料工程學士學位並在財富100的公司工作10多年。在職期間，她取得工商管理碩士 及心理學碩士學位。Alice現在居住在台北當全職媽媽。
Lily 在英國劍橋大學取得工程學士及碩士學位後，曾服務不同跨國企業擔任行政主管。現在Lily身兼地產，資訊科技公司董事局職務。
