作者簡介

歐森．史考特．卡德（Orson Scott Card）

　　當今美國科幻界最炙手可熱的作家之一，也是知名科 幻經典《戰爭遊戲》（Ender’s Game）、《安德闇影》（Ender’s Shadow）、《亡靈代言人》（Speaker for the Dead），以及其他【安德】系列的作者。《戰爭遊戲》發表於1985年，一舉奪得科幻小說界最高榮譽星雲獎及雨果獎，其續集《亡靈代言人》 （Speaker for the Dead）發表於次年，也獲得星雲獎和雨果獎，使卡德成為唯一一位曾連續兩年贏得這兩項大獎的作家。2008年，他更獲得美國圖書館協會所頒發的「愛德華 終生成就獎」（Margaret A. Edwards Award），以表彰他對青少年文學的傑出貢獻。卡德的作品不僅被全世界成人和青少年讀者喜愛，也被廣泛運用在學校教學。
