Dr. Wachinski, is an author, advisor, associate professor of civil engineering, consultant, corporate officer, counselor, engineer, entrepreneur, expert witness, fellow technologist (CH2M Hill), ghostwriter for the water industry, life-choice coach, marketer, negotiator, reviewer, research investigator, patent holder, international speaker, subject matter expert on most water related issues, and Air Force veteran.
Dr. Wachinski authored seven technical books-published, two volumes of his memoirs and over 50 professional papers. He’s presented on technical topics throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and SE Asia. He holds three patents, He’s coached lawyers, engineers, professional colleagues, and students. He served as associate professor of civil engineering and deputy department head at the USAF Academy. He’s been retained in ten expert witness engagements. As an expert witness, Dr. Wachinski provides his unbiased expert assessments, reports, depositions, and testimony for both plaintiff and defense in complex water technology, water quality, water treatment, water safety, and water analysis related disputes.
Dr. Wachinski is a recognized subject matter expert on the chemistry and process treatment of industrial and municipal water, wastewater and seawater desalination, with 50 years’ experience. He has extensive experience in resolving complex global legal, commercial, regulatory, and technical contract issues. His professional background is in private industry, consulting, government, military, academia, and water-related R&D and commercialization of most water technology including but not limited to filtration, low pressure membranes, point of entry/point of use systems, as well as technology transfer and acquisition. His expertise was recognized by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Dr. Wachinski can speak knowledgably about changing government regulations on water quality and provide insight about water and wastewater treatment issues. He served as a Peer reviewer for the American Water Works Association’s AWWA Journal, Water Research, and other journals. He successfully negotiated technical and legal issues with Asian and SE Asian companies.
