本書的內容以26 個字母的學習為主，每個字母帶出以此字母為首的4-8 個基礎單字，因此可以將本書視為一本簡易版的圖解字典。每個字母都有大小寫的筆順教學，讓小朋友能學到每個字母的形狀與寫法。另外，某些字母會配上與單字相關的卡通片段歌曲，以及與單字相關的小遊戲，搭配點讀筆的功能，小朋友可以用點讀筆聽歌、玩互動遊戲、聽到單字物品的有趣音效。
