The book Contemporary Romanian Artists. Journalistic Insights is about art as a means to communicate meanings shared by the members of a community or of a culture at the end of the 20th century and beginning of the new millennium. First, there is a look into the changes that affected the cultural production and consumption practices in the digital era. It is about the interactive art and relational aesthetics, the emergence of a new production and consumption model, and cultural differences between the works of Western and East European artists, reflecting the transition from communism to post-communism and democracy.
