Alexis S. Troubetzkoy

As he does, he describes his encounters with the famous, the important, and the influential, and with "those who hold his heart - and his hatred". In his introduction, Alexis Troubetzkoy describes the serendipity by which Razumoff ’s manuscript came into his hands, together with a trove of supporting documentation. Prince Troubetzkoy is an internationally published author who has written on the mysterious disappearance of Tsar Alexander I, a brief history of the Crimean War, and a history of Arctic development. More recently he authored The St. Petersburg Connection: Russian-American Friendship from Revolution to Revolution. A fellow of the Association of Russian-American Scholars in the U.S.A., he has been Headmaster of Selwyn House School in Québec, and of Appleby College and the Toronto French School in Ontario. He resides in Toronto with his wife, Hélène, while their daughter and son continue to live in Budapest and Majorca.
