Lamenting her failing marriage over a mug of coffee at the local cafe, Jane overhears two women talking. One in particular gives an account similar to Jane's crumbling life, with one difference; her story ends with hope and how she'd found it in the rapidly growing church in town. It had been a lifetime ago that Jane had given up all association with church and God, but she has friends who attend the same meeting place as the woman at the cafe.
