Dr. Faridon Amdjadi is a Lecturer and professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Glasgow Caledonian University. He is an applied mathematician whose research areas of interest include Symmetric Bifurcation Theory, Mode Interactions, Chaos, and Reaction-Diffusion Problems. He has published many papers in prestigious international journals. Dr Amdjadi is a dedicated and accomplished lecturer with extensive experience in teaching engineering students. With a strong academic background and a passion for education, he has spent over a decade shaping the minds of future engineers. Dr Amdjadi taught various mathematics modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels to mathematics and engineering students and continues to inspire and empower his students, preparing them to excel in the ever-evolving field of engineering.
Dr. Dharminder Singh completed his PhD in 2017 at Glasgow Caledonian University which focused on the use of the Discrete Element Method to model the breakage of particles. Before joining GCU as a Lecturer, Dharminder worked as a Research and Development Engineer on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership between the University of Huddersfield and Trillium Flow Technologies where he conducted research on the condition monitoring of control valves and the development of Smart valves. Dr. Singh is a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Glasgow Caledonian University and has published at conferences and in reputed international journals. He has taught various engineering modules which are underpinned by mathematics.
