It's not enough that they've joked about 4,300+ instances of impending environmental collapse. Now, they've gone one step too far. It's got pathos, and bathos, and fart jokes, while analyzing Species Collapse, Resource Depletion, Climate Chaos, Infectious Disease, and Biology Breach. Then, they analyze them in concert (whew, that chapter *rocks*). And then they talk about the possibility of Recovery. The book takes a lighthearted romp through the dark underbelly of envirocide. It's probably the only book about what we're doing to ourselves that you can actually laugh at.
