This would be impossible in such a short work. They largely touch upon other aspects of life, such as the passion or ambiguity of the population’s mindset and clannishness as an ineradicable curse of the last century. The brochure contains notes on the 5th Congress of the Islamic Renaissance Party of Tajikistan, which are more in the nature of political journalism. The author of the notes, Iskandar Kurbanovich Asadullaev, is an Honored Worker of Tajikistan, Doctor of Philosophy, member of the International Hegel Society, and has been at the heart of political events in Tajikistan for many years, which does not free his political assessments from the burden of subjective attitudes towards them. The brochure will be of interest not only to scholars, politicians, and diplomats, but also to a wide range of readers interested in the realities and processes of Tajikistan’s years of independence.
