My life is fine, normal, easy.

By day I read the cards I hide from Nanna, walk under the trees with my dog and make jewellery that sings under my fingers.

By night I fight with the nightmares that consume me.

Only to wake and start over again.

But when I’m ripped from sleep to find two dark figures hidden in the shadows of my room, life is not fine.

It gets worse when the torments of my nightmares escape their confines, leaving me no choice but to let them take me.

From all I know, everyone I love.
