This Latin-language text includes the capitularies, or royal edicts, created by the Frankish kings between the 6th and 8th centuries. These edicts cover a wide range of topics, from military service to judicial matters. The text also includes notes from learned men of the time, which provide historical context and further insight into the workings of early medieval society.
