Alice was living a completely normal life. Paying her taxes. Donating to charity. Having decent relationships with her family and friends. She worked a regular nine to five job and even volunteer on her spare time. Yet, somehow the universe decided she would be kidnapped by a bunch of lunatics that thought they were vampire and be killed after watching several women die before her. It was a sucky fate but she couldn’t do anything but accept it after she was chained to a stone table and the leader began slicing away. But just before he slit her throat, in burst group of individuals that began fighting off the psychopath cult. Only one of those people caught her attention though and despite fearing him, she couldn’t help her attraction to the man.

Cain was vampire who had lived longer than most empires had ever lasted. He had probably seen it all in his years which was probably why he felt nothing anymore. Until the day he rescued one Drako’s latest virgin sacrifice. Her eyes alone make Cain feel things he never believed he would experience again. But even after finding out she is his destined mate, he can’t truly have her because Drako has already made her a demon’s consort. The only way he can have her is by taking her to the gates of hell to release the demon hold on her. The journey though is far too dangerous and Cain isn’t sure he’s willing to risk the woman that has made him feel once more.
