Each chapter of Writing Clear Essays is arranged to stress the similarities in learning how to write. This arrangement is based on what you already know about the paragraph. The first section of each chapter discusses the overall structure of your essay－what you want to say and how you want to say it. This first section is titled Organization.
The second section of each chapter is named Techniques of Clear Writing. This section discusses the detail of the way you say it. It generally pertains to the sentences or to elements within the sentence.
The third section of each chapter is headed Word Power. This section deals with the individual words that make up various sentences, because every sentence is dependent on the appropriateness, the force, and the precision of the words you select.
