Dan Newman once had it all, but he possessed a major character flaw that led to his self-destruction. In a matter of weeks he lost his wife, job, reputation, and nearly lost his freedom. He is now trying to get his life back on track, kick a drug habit, and become a good father. He seeks redemption for his past mistakes by attempting to help Hal Lewis, an ex-Vietnam vet who has been framed for a double murder. Dr John Lee appears to be a model citizen. In reality, he is a cold-blooded killer seeking revenge against the chief of police. Dan discovers that John Lee is responsible for multiple murders and has framed Hal. However, due to Dan's past, no one believes him. Dan also learns the killer's next target is the police chief's daughter and Dan's former girlfriend. Together, Dan and Hal must stop John Lee before he kills again.
