C. Roy Fortune

Born in a Vancouver flop house to a drug-addicted mother and a criminal father, no one expects Tim Davis to amount to much. After his father, Ed, is sent to the Kingston Penitentiary for murder, Tim is forcibly removed from his mother's home, and is put through years of failed adoptions and foster families that leave him bitter, angry, and ready to explode. About the Author A teacher for thirty-six years, C. Roy Fortune lives in Ottawa, Ontario with his wife of fifty years, Faye. They have three children and seven grandchildren. Roy holds Master of Arts degrees in French and History. Born and raised on a farm at Chesley, Ontario, he has taught in Ontario, France, and Germany. He has previously published two books. Roy's past-times include playing piano and organ, reading, research, cooking, volunteering in his local church, and visiting with his children and grandchildren. Fascinated with the origins of ideas, he particularly enjoys reading historical novels, philosophy, and the comics.
