The study presented is a historical analysis of the state of Pará, biodiesel production, the economy in the region, its bifurcations, the production processes that lead to the expansion of this by-product, statistics, the local community and its activities. The environment and its biota, and the population’s coexistence with the extraction of natural resources in the state.
